This introductory certificate program prepares students with the theoretical and applied fundamentals of lean, including tools and concepts. Structured into six modules and incorporating group simulations and assignments, participants learn when and how to apply the core lean tools in a problem solving capacity to improve workplace processes.

“The training received from the CME Lean program has allowed us to standardize the department.  I was able to hold my first Kaizen for the shipping processes.  The success that came out of it was as a team we have been able to provide the knowledge to anyone who enters the department to know the goals and expectations of what is required.  As a team in the department we have been doing cross training to allow everyone to work in all areas of the shipping and receiving department.”
