Lean 101 Workshop
“When we first joined CME we had been dabbling with Lean for a while but were not seeing significant gains. CME helped us find another gear that really pushed our operations to the next level. The training we've received through CME in Saskatchewan created a fire for continuous improvement in our company that quickly spread to all of our Canadian and U.S. facilities.”

CME's in-house Lean 101 Workshop encompasses a full-day, interactive overview of lean tools and methodology. Students will:
- Learn the basic history and evolution of lean practices, as well as common terms and acronyms;
- Learn the eight different types of waste, and how to identify them in their daily work;
- Be introduced to 5S and value stream mapping using simulations; and
- Begin to leverage lean tools in a group setting, to tackle real, workplace situations.
Please note the agenda may be customized to individual organizations.
